In October 2007, the Argentine Transportation Secretariat authorized the company to operate domestic and international non-scheduled air transport services for passengers, cargo and mail, using small aircraft. It also obtained the air operator certificate, which gives Alba Jet autonomy in the company's commercial operation.

Alba Jet is currently based at San Fernando International Airport, where it has a modern hangar of approximately 1,500 square meters of covered surface, with capacity to house third-party aircraft and perform ramp operations.

It has an office area, parking and a passenger reception lounge for domestic flights authorized to depart from the hangar ramp.
