Who do you buy your power from today?
At the top of the bill
It is the company that sends you the electricity bill: it appears at the top, with its logo. If it is not on the list, choose "Other".
In the supply details
Look for the rate: if it says MT or M (e.g. T3 MT or T3M2) it is medium voltage; if it says BT or B, low voltage.
In the consumption details
It comes in kWh: divide it by 1,000 to get MWh (328,339 kWh = 328 MWh). If you can, average several months.
At the bottom of the bill
Use the total amount due, including VAT and taxes. If you can, average several months.
Estimated annual savings
In Córdoba (EPEC) the municipal fee is calculated on the total, so the savings are slightly lower.

What we are usually asked
How long does the switch take?
With Res. SE 293/2026, entry into the MEM becomes monthly: you file the application by the last business day of a month, it is approved the following month and you start buying on the 1st of the next one. Applications are accepted from December 2026, so the first entry is on February 1, 2027 and every month from then on.
Does anything change in the installation?
No. The power keeps arriving through the same distribution grid; only who you buy it from changes.
Do I need to install equipment?
Up to 2 MW, no: the distribution company's metering is used. The switch is administrative.
What if I consume more than contracted?
Energy not covered by the contract is paid at market price and settled through CAMMESA.
Can I go back to the distribution company?
Yes, you can go back to buying from your distribution company; we will explain the conditions and terms for your case. And if you stay in the MEM, since Res. SE 293/2026 you can also switch from GUME to GUMA (or vice versa) in any month, after one year in your category.
