Central Térmica Cogeneración Arroyo Seco
Arroyo Seco, Santa Fe · 130 MW installed
The Arroyo Seco Cogeneration Thermal Power Plant is located in the province of Santa Fe. The project, which required an investment of USD 165 million, started its first stage in September 2024 and was completed in July 2025. It contributes 130 MW of installed capacity injected into the Argentine Interconnected System (SADI).
The project had two stages. The first developed the open cycle, generating thermal power through two Siemens SGT-800 turbines.
In the second and final phase, Vogt heat recovery boilers of 60 tons per hour and a 25 MW Siemens SST-300 steam turbine were added, turning the plant into a 133 MW cogeneration facility that supplies steam to Louis Dreyfus Company.
